PMJAY Ayushman Bharat Hospitals in Kerala

Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) provides ₹5 lakh per family per year of cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals. In Kerala this is delivered through the Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi (KASP). Find empanelled government and private hospitals below.

Who is eligible?

Families listed in the SECC 2011 database, and additional Kerala state-added families under KASP. Check eligibility with your Ayushman card or on the Beneficiary portal.

What is covered?

Over 1,900 medical procedures including surgery, cardiology, oncology, nephrology, ICU care and more. Pre-hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation expenses are also covered.

How to use?

Carry your Ayushman card / ration card and photo ID to the hospital's PMJAY / Arogya Mitra desk. Treatment is fully cashless — you should not be asked to pay.

How to actually get free treatment

  1. 1. Check if you're eligible

Visit beneficiary.nha.gov.in, enter your mobile / ration card / Aadhaar and select Kerala. If your family is listed, you can get an Ayushman card.

  2. 2. Get your Ayushman card

Free at any Common Service Centre (CSC), Akshaya centre, or empanelled hospital's PMJAY desk. Carry Aadhaar + ration card. e-Card is issued on the spot.

  3. 3. Pick an empanelled hospital

Use the list below. For planned treatment, call ahead and confirm the specific procedure is covered under PMJAY / KASP.

  4. 4. Go to the Arogya Mitra / PMJAY desk

Every empanelled hospital has a PMJAY / Arogya Mitra help desk. Show the Ayushman card + patient's ID. They handle pre-authorisation with the insurer.

  5. 5. Get treatment — 100% cashless

You should NOT be asked to pay for covered procedures, medicines, tests, ICU, implants or food during admission. Pre & post-hospitalisation is also covered.

  6. 6. Keep discharge papers

Collect the discharge summary and all bills stamped 'PMJAY / KASP cashless'. Useful if there's any follow-up dispute.

Hospital asking you to pay? Don't.

If an empanelled hospital denies cashless treatment or asks for money for a covered procedure, this is against PMJAY rules. Take these steps:

  • 📞 Kerala KASP grievance helpline: 155330.
  • 🖥️ File a written grievance at cgrms.pmjay.gov.in.
  • 👥 Ask for the Arogya Mitra / PMJAY nodal officer in writing before paying anything.
