Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Listing & Requests

Caregiver registration and family help-requests on Trusted Bystander are currently free of charge. No fees are collected to list a caregiver profile or submit a family request.

2. Payment for Caregiving Services

Any payment for caregiving services is made directly between the family and the caregiver. Trusted Bystander does not collect, hold, or process payments for caregiving work and is not a party to such payments.

3. Cancellation by Family

Families may cancel a pending request at any time before a caregiver is matched, by contacting us. Once a caregiver has been engaged, cancellation terms are between the family and the caregiver.

4. Cancellation by Caregiver

Caregivers may withdraw their profile at any time by contacting us. We will remove the profile from public listings within 7 working days.

5. Future Paid Services

If Trusted Bystander introduces paid features in the future (such as premium listings or matchmaking fees), a clear refund window will be published before any charge is made. Unless otherwise stated, refund requests must be made within 7 days of payment, and approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

For any billing or service dispute, please contact us first so we can attempt a good-faith resolution before escalating.
